0 Jay-Z Responds to Sigel...

First and foremost...Happy Halloween to all
No later than a day after Beanie Sigel reveals his diss track towards Jay-Z, Hov responds to the shots during a press conference in Canada.  LaRueduHipHop.com captured a press conference that happened earlier today in which Hov speaks on the Beanie Sigel situation. This can get real ugly.

If you listen, the things that Jay is mentioning is true...so the call-out by Beans is questionable.  But we don't know what happens behind the scense, so as this unfolds, we'll keep you updated....

2 More Shots Fired Jay-Z's Way

Hmmm....y'all I dont really gotta lot to say about this one.  If you put the two rappers on a scale, Hov is definitely bigger than Beanie Sigel..regardless of the realistic weight differential.
Earlier this morning, Beans went on Hot 97 NY to premeire his diss to the one-time partner, labelmate and friend.  The reasoning for Sigel's record is from the night of the September 11 Tribute Concert in which Jay-Z performed in front of a sold out Madison Square Garden.  He accuses Jay-Z of calling the police on him during the premier concert of Blueprint 3 when he was spotted in the front row.  He also accuses Jay-Z of keeping him tied to the label when Sigel had an opportunity to go elsewhere.

According to Sigel, Jay offered him a financial incentive to remain on the struggling label’s roster. “I told you I ain’t want your money,” he said addressing Jay-Z directly.

“But you was in a position to let me get my own money, and you couldn’t do that,” Sigel claimed.

Whatever issues remain between the two artists, who have always appeared to be very close, Sigel has made it clear that they can be resolved.

The diss record was released hours after Jay-Z and Alicia Keys performed at Yankee Stadium.  So who knows...it could possibly be a World Series beef.  Seeing as how Beans is from Philly and Hov is the man of NY, the Yankees and Phillies being in the World Series could've been the last straw for Sigel.

Those with a sense of humor understood the previous paragraph.

Neither Jay-Z of any of his representatives has yet to respond. Although Jay is known for giving artists the cold shoulder after a diss is thrown at him, this goes deeper than the other shots.  These are two guys who had a very strong friendship and they intended on doing bigger things in the future.  Unfortunately, things change.  This will probably be addressed, but not in a public light.

Of the lyrics, he said, “This ain’t a green light for everybody to start making 'diss Jay-Z' records. This is just me taking my brother out for five minutes.” Their feud is reported to have originated from their Roc-A-Fella business dealings, and Jay-Z's allegedly adequate marketing of Sigel’s album in 2007.

What y'all think about this?  Comment please...

1 ...still wating...

It’s well documented that sneakerheads love their Air Jordans, and whenever an OG Retro model is on the horizon, needless to say, the buzz gets pretty strong leading up to the eventual release. To say that’s what’s happening with the upcoming Space Jam edition of the Air Jordan XI would be a massive understatement. Sneaker collectors are literally foaming at the mouth right now at the thought of being able to grab a pair of the long-coveted Space Jams this coming December. Beside the fact that the original Space Jam colorway was so beloved, what makes the Retro release even more special is that unlike many other Air Jordan classics that are being re-released with alternate colors, materials or both, these will actually maintain their original form. The only new twist is the elaborate packaging, but that should hardly be grounds for many complaints. Check out the video to see these beauties unboxed and displayed for your viewing pleasure, and keep reading after the jump for some more pics of all the magical wonders contained in the Retro Space Jam shoe box.

Check out the photos below for some more looks at em before they release this December!

Hurry up December...

0 A Message from Gucci Mane?!?!

Now children I know that we look up to entertainers as our idols. Recently Gucci Mane has become a big one to the whole country. But he's serious about his soberness. On that note check out his Public Service Announcement (PSA) that he made at the BET Hip-Hop Awards earlier this week.

On that note listen to his new track "Wasted Remix" featuring Lil Wayne, Jadakiss and Gucci Mane.....a little hypocritical don't you think?

0 F.A.D.E.D. UPDATE

Most of you have probably been concerned about the lack of activity that has been going on @ F.A.D.E.D. We would first like to apologize for the short amount of posts these past weeks, the inconsistency in categories, and third we would like to explain our reasoning. The lack of posting the past couple of weeks isn’t a result of laziness, but we’ve been working on a project that will please all of F.A.D.E.D. Nation.
In an effort to take steps to reach a higher plateau for F.A.D.E.D., we will be transferring websites from http://freshalldayeveryday.blogspot.com/ to our own domain name, http://freshalldayeveryday.com/. This site change will allow us to hold our own name and make us that easier to reach. The platform that we are currently using as a website is setup for a blog, and it’s time for a change.

We will still continue blogging, but no longer on the Blogger template. Our new website features a homepage that can send you to any link on the new site, which STILL includes our main focuses; music, fashion, media, etc.

This change will be coming after the first weekend in November so be ready! We promise that this change will only make F.A.D.E.D. better and to all those who’ve been with us on Blogger, we really appreciate y’all. This doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to still follow us because trust me, after the new site is published, you will have no choice but to keep us on your favorites.

Til’ then, keep it F.A.D.E.D. on here. We will continue to post as much as we can until our new platform is established.

0 2010: Year of the Jumpman

At the turn of the calendar, we’ll be full on the upcoming feast of Air Jordan retros.  Let me introduce you to the appetizers.

Air Jordan VIs were the first shoe MJ wore to hoist the Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy back in 1991 and now you can cop a near perfect copy. These employ varsity red in place of infrared, but everything else is spot-on. If you need to get your hands on them early and have relatively small feet, Osneaker has US mens sizes 8 and 8.5.

As I previously mentioned, 2010 will be a big year for the Air Jordan VI thanks to numerous colorways scheduled for release.

Proof is in the pudding....

As you can see, this AJ VI sports a combination of White leather and Black suede on the upper, with an added stylish touch provided by some White speckles on the midsole, heel tab and lace locks, and a clear outsole as the clincher. Obviously, the OG Retro colorways will get much of the attention come next year, but this offering has a good shot to be embraced thanks to the clean color scheme and the resemblance to the highly sought-after Motorsports edition of the Air Jordan VI. Keep reading to check out some more pics and a nice video preview of the shoe courtesy of sneakgeekz.

0 The Cypher!

As like every year BET Hip-Hop Awards brings you free styling at its best called the Cypher. This year was no different.

This Cypher includes Mos Def, Black Thought and Eminem. Personally out of all the freestyles last night Eminem went the hardest no doubt about it. It just makes me think why he wasn't on MTV top 10, but thats for another update.

Here we have Nicki Minaji, Buckshot, Crown Royal and Joe Buddden. Not as good as the other one personally but at the end of the day all the MC's were goin.

0 Clipse f. Cam’ron | Popeyes --- HEAT!!

Right after Cam’ron emerged from his self-inflicted exile, around about the time he played us mad times in a row by not showing up for our interview appointments, someone who actually did get a microphone under him got him to admit that he’d thought about retiring. Thankfully, he did not follow through, a decision we’re sure had very little to do with ceding victory to 50 Cent after their dust-up. As far as we can tell, Cam is still very much the king of Harlem and if he wanted to be, probably New York City, but the fact that he’s somehow burrowed himself into the underground makes his appearance on “Popeyes” less the favor to message board heroes the Clipse, than a sensible alliance.

Story from TheFader

Two thumbs up from me...be sure to look out for the video coming soon.
