2 Jay-Z on the Oprah Winfrey Show...in case you missed it!

In case you missed it, you can catch the whole Jay-Z interview with Oprah yesterday…here on F.A.D.E.D. As we know, Oprah doesn’t really associate herself with rappers, but it’s good to see her expand her parameters and do this interview. A nice sign of respect, for both of the African American icons. Whats good F.A.D.E.D. nation? 

Bp just droppin' by to spread some info on a couple pairs of sneakers that I browsed upon...

Spike Lee continues to get love from Nike as his latest colorways of his new Spike Lee Pack. Set to release sometime in December, the Nike Air Trainer II LE’s can catch the attention of any sneakerhead who are to peep these on the street. Its eye catching elephant print-enhanced black, red and neon green palette will definitely be on the radars of Spike’s fans and those bold enough to rock this wild colorway. Only few people can appreciate this look, and I am one of those dudes. Look out for these and if you’re a lucky number (size) 9, you can cop these verbdws on eBay.

Before ’09 is over with, you will definitely be able to get your hands on these gorgeous things. These are just one of the looks that Nike has collaborated with Gucci…the Dunk High Gucci Denim shoe. These are beautiful…we’ll be sure to post when these are released.

Late 2009 is an Air Jordan XII (12) fan’s dream come true. We’re not seeing anywhere near the crazy spread Jay Jones showed off back in July but there are three AJXII retros on the way very soon. Even if you get the Rising Sun, Flu Game and/or regular season home joints in white/red, Jay still would have had you beat. That could change with the above pictured Michael Finley PE. The white and blue colourway created for Chicago native Finley as a home look at the Dallas Mavericks’ American Airlines Center back in 2003-04 adds ‘FIN’ and ‘4′ emrboideries to the left and right outer heel, respectively. Keep up with the Joneses and cop these today from ISC on eBay.

With a bunch of drops within the past and next few seasons, the Air Jordan XII has been given much shine lately by JB. These Jay’s are one of the most sought out by sneaker lovers around the globe. Mostly in part because they have never been retro’ed before. One of the few pairs that have only rocks two of the Chicago Bulls colors, rather than the popular red/black/white trifecta, these were anticipated to drop in a few months. But to no one’s surprise, certain suppliers are always crafty enough to drop stuff mad early. Thus, those with eager hands can cop from OSneaker for a hefty price.

In an attempt to draw inspiration from current events and those who care about them, Jaxleigh conveys these discussions through their clothing line. The brand maintains a classic and simple style throughout the line with graphics revolving around original artist series works and photography oriented depictions. This clothing line translates debate topics with their shirts and they display strong messages regarding today’s controversial issues.

Jaxleigh Inc. began as a grassroots initiative by Greg Schwartzenberger when he was a freshman at a small Southern Baptist college in Buies Creek, North Carolina. 0 Lil' Boosie Sentenced to Two Year Jail-Bid

After just releasing his new album 'Superbad', Lil' Boosie was sentenced to two years in prison on Tuesday. Boosie was arrested earlier this year on gun and drug charges. He was scheduled to stand trial this coming week but he entered a guilty plea to avoid a trial. This is very upsetting to see, especially since the guy was really starting to take off with his music career.

“I'm just ready to get all of it behind me and get further on with my career. I plead guilty in my own best interest.”

 

It was reported that Boosie was accused of bribing a police officer after the arrest for the incident last fall. He was said to have pulled out a knot of money to convince the officer to let him go but Boosie denied any of that happening.  The arrest marked his third arrest for marijuana possession.
There is a possibility that he may only have to do a little more/less than a year pending good behavior.  He will be sent away this upcoming November.

"I got a tracking device on, I got a big trial September 28," he said. "I'm just staying focused, you know I think about it every day but I just go home doing music after music not knowing what my situation would be... In Baton Rouge we got a crooked court system. And I'm a target down there you know. I'm not even a convicted felon -- it's getting bigger and bigger you know, they putting things on the news. They showing me on the news doing all kind of other stuff not showing the good side I do. All my giveaways to the community and things like that. It's just a hick town, you know, and I'm in it...Everywhere I go they pulling me over they hacking me up. About a year ago they came in my house for nothing, just kicked the door, shot bombs in the house. I got kids in my house and everything. Who the h*ll give you permission to shoot bombs in the house?" -Lil' Boosie

He may not be one of the more appealing rappers, but Maino does have some lyrical ability and he makes REAL music.  A lot of people don't show this guy respect, but give him a chance with this new tape he dropped, Unstoppable.

When it comes to the Street Runnaz mixtapes, I usually leave them alone.  But I went through the tracklisting and there are a few appealing artists on here.

0 Dew Tour

Its that time once again, it's time for the Dew Tour. The Dew Tour is held once every year from the months of June to October. If you don't know what the Tour is let me explain, this Tour brings out the best skaters, bmx riders, ralley car drivers etc. in the world to one spot to go head to head for the title. The Tour consists of going to five cities all over the country, and the points that you obtain accumilate. So at the end of the five spots whoever has the most points wins there division. The five stops this year are Chicago, Boston, Portland, Salt Lake City, and Orlando. To bad none of them are coming to Michigan or Ohio, but thats besides the point right now. Some leaders right now in the polls are Bucky Lasek,(Skateboard Vert)Chris Cole,(Skateboard Street)and Jamie Bestwick(BMX Vert). The next stop for the Dew Tour will be held in Orlando for the final stop in the tour, sponsored by Playstation Pro, from October 15-18 so don't sleep. F.A.D.E.D. fux with the Dew Tour, and you should too. Here's a photo clip from my favorite event in the tour Skate Park finals, congrats to Rodolofo Ramos for taking 1st place at the event this past weekend.
