Jay-Z Delivers Another #1

Once again, we can say congratulations to Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter. Hov has once again hit #1 on the Billboard 200 with his new album, the Blueprint 3. Even with the album leaking a week prior to the release, Jay-Z still managed to make it to the top (like always) leaving just him and the Beatles with the most number one albums on the Billboard 200 in its 53 year history. With the Blueprint 3 hitting #1, he surpassed Elvis in the most number one albums. With the Beatles sitting up at 19, it’s almost impossible for Jay-Z to reach that, but who knows…this guy does big things.

Here’s a list of Jay-Z’s number one albums…

, "Vol. 2...Hard Knock Life" (five weeks)

, "Vol. 3...Live and Times of S. Carter"

, "The Dynasty Roc La Familia (2000--)"

, "The Blueprint" (three weeks)

, "The Blueprint 2: The Gift and the Curse"

, "The Black Album" (two weeks)

, "Unfinished Business," R. Kelly & Jay-Z

, "MTV Ultimate Mash-Ups Presents: Collision Course," Jay-Z/Linkin Park

, "Kingdom Come"

, "American Gangster"

, "The Blueprint 3"
